The Best Is Yet to Come” is a 1959 jazz standard.  It was introduced by Tony Bennett, and later recorded by Frank Sinatra, accompanied by Count Basie’s orchestra.

This arrangement is for string quintet: two violins, viola, cello and bass. It captures the original easy swing feel, and provides each player with an interesting part.
